The book of James was written by Jesus’s half-brother James around 48-49 AD to encourage Jewish Christians who were facing hard times and persecution.

James is a call to authentic Christian living, where faith is proven by actions, words are used wisely, and believers remain steadfast through trials. The book is practical, challenging, and deeply rooted in the teachings of Jesus. It reminds readers that true faith is visible in the way we treat others, respond to hardship, and live out God’s wisdom in daily life.

We will be studying James Chapter 1 verses 1-18.
